November – This month saw me in Barretstown Castle, Co Kildare, with recent campers to officially open a new library, donated by Bord Gáis Energy. This was in celebration of the first anniversary of Ireland's most popular online book club, bordgaisenergybookclub.ie. This library will add to the portfolio of therapeutic recreation available at Barretstown and is specifically designed for campers to enjoy some 'time-out' and to enable them to re-energize while enjoying their time at the camp and the many fun activities on offer.
