My first ever Cecelia Ahern. I have always thought Cecelia Ahern is just another chick lit writer and I will never imagine myself to be so totally sucked into this magical story. A very wonderful, inspiring and intriguing read. I am not a big fan of chick lit but this far from what most of the people thought it is. Definitely not my last of Cecelia Ahern's book.

An amazing book! very gripping, and very hard to put down. The story was fantastic but the ending was so sad! very tragic but touching as well, definitely one of my favorite out of all Cecelia's books!

This Book Was Pure Magic-
I loved it. The Gift is one of those books you just cannot put down. It has interesting twists and turns, relatable incidents, and a touch of magic about it. It is beautifully written, and leaves some aspects to your imagination, adding to the creativity of the book. It is really lovely, and I'd reccomend it to anyone.

Wow! This book is so deep, emotional and thoyght provoking that I didn't know how it could possibly end. I was in tears...sentimental, empathetic tears with the main character Lou and his family. Having lost my own father some years ago, at the tender age of 58, and so suddenly I could empathise with the children and to an extent with the mother. Such a loss is heartwrenching and life changing and Cecelia portrayed it to perfecton. I felt every emotion Lou and his family felt and believed completely in all the characters. The spiritual/angelic presence of Gabe in the book is genius - a material form of conscience - Cecelia I envy your talent. I will keep reading whatever fabulous life moral you have to share next...I for one will not be taking any loved ones for granted and will make the most of every moment...as we all should. Life is too short to wonder what if and keep saying 'tomorrow'.
